Farida Hughes: Luminosity

The works in the Luminosity series are influenced by the mindfulness of staying in place, and examining both an inner human light and real light as it moves through the spaces of one’s surroundings. Observations of natural and artificial light combined with an awareness of the metaphoric light that connects us to people and that we share among communities is the basis for my current compositions.
